Michael Ilesanmi, known from “90 Day Fiancé,” recently responded to his estranged wife Angela Deem’s annulment request with a cryptic social media post.

On August 7, hours after news broke that Angela, 58, had filed for annulment, Michael, 35, shared a photo on Instagram Stories of a fortune cookie slip reading, “The best is yet to come.”
The post, made without any accompanying text, seemed to reflect Michael’s hopeful outlook on the future.
Angela’s annulment petition, filed on June 20 in Georgia, claims that Michael married her solely to gain legal permanent residency in the U.S.
The paperwork states that Angela and Michael have been separated for 30 days prior to the filing and that Michael was involved in a scheme with other Nigerian men to marry U.S. citizens for residency purposes.

Angela is seeking to have her maiden name restored and is requesting Michael cover her attorney fees and court costs.
She also noted that they have no shared property or debts. In her filing, Angela stated that despite efforts, she cannot locate Michael.
This legal action follows an incident from February when Michael went missing briefly but later contacted the police to confirm his safety.
Michael, who left Angela’s home in December 2023, revealed in a July 25 interview that he felt mistreated and struggled with the situation, describing his experience as difficult and painful.
