Funke Akindele is undoubtedly one of the best and famous actresses Nollywood has ever seen due to her versatility in playing every role given to her. She is an actress and a movie producer who producer Jenifa’s Diary.

Funke Akindele was born on 24th August, 1977, in Ikorodu, Lagos State, Nigeria. Her father is a retired School Principal and her mother is a Medical Doctor. She is the second child of three. She graduated from the former Ogun State Polytechnic now Moshood Abiola Polytechnic with an Ordinary National Diploma (OND). The actress began her acting career in 1998 where she starred in a popular United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA)-sponsored sitcom “I Need To Know”. She became gained her fame after appearing in a Nollywood movie ‘Jenifa’ in 2008.

Twin Sister

Funke Akindele doesn’t have a twin sister but has beautiful sister Olubunmi Esther who resemble her too much. Because of their striking resemblance, some social media users usually mistake them for twins but they are not.
