Song Joong Ki and Park Bo Gum were good brothers because they were both artists under the same record label, Blossom Entertainment. Having that in common, the two became closer and developed a close relationship.

In 2016, both of them were seen crying because they received awards. Song Joong Ki received the Daesang award while Park Bo-gum was Park Bo-gum received the Male Top Excellent award. When Park Bo-gum was receiving the award, he was seen crying and thanked Song Joong-Ki for his support.

When Park Bo-gum was filming Moonlight Dawn by the Clouds, Song Joong-Ki and Song Hye-Kyo sent him a coffee car to support him at the shooting location. Park also considers Song Joong-Ki as his role model in acting, he said his acting ability is the best.
Most of their fans believe they are real siblings however, they are just friends and their well-wishers pray for a long-lasting friendship for them.
