Who is the biggest liar in Ghana?

Ghana’s vice president Mahamudu Bawumia is ranked as the biggest liar in Ghana.

Mahamudu Bawumia is a popular Ghanaian economist, a banker, and the current Vice President of Ghana. He assumed office on 7 January 2017.

This is the search result when anyone googles about the biggest liar in Ghana which can be attributed to his political games with regards to fulfilling a campaign promise.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai tried explaining the search results when he before a Judiciary Committee hearing in Washington DC where he was asked questions.

He explained ‘ “Anytime you type in a keyword, as Google we have gone out and crawled and stored copies of billions of Websites pages in our index. And we take the keyword and match it against their pages and rank them based on over 200 signals – things like relevance, freshness, popularity, how other people are using it.’

‘And based on that, at any given time, we try to rank and find the best search results for that query. And then evaluate it to objective guideline. And that how we make sure the process is working. This is working at scale and we don’t manually intervene on any particular search result”

Sundar Pichai concluded that ‘ So from the above result, one can easily concur that Google doesn’t identify Bawumia as the biggest liar in Ghana, However, Bawumia’s image might have appeared because many Ghanaians have used the word or term with his name and Images.’
