Chad Green is an American professional baseball pitcher for the New York Yankees of Major League Baseball (MLB).

Chad Keith Green was born on May 24, 1991, in Greenville, South Carolina to his parents, Howard and Sheena Green. He was raised alongside a twin brother named Chase, who played shortstop for Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville.

Chad Green also has an older sister (Lynsie), and an older brother called Blake. He attended Effingham High School in Effingham, Illinois. Chad Green was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 37th round of the 2010 MLB draft from high school but he did not sign with Toronto.

Chad Green later enrolled at the University of Louisville, where he played college baseball for the Louisville Cardinals. Chad Green was selected by the Detroit Tigers in the 11th round of the 2013 MLB draft.

Chad Green made his professional debut that year with the GCL Tigers but was promoted to the major leagues on May 14, 2016, by the Yankees. He made his major league debut on May 16.

Who Is Chad Green’s Wife Jenna Daugherty?

Chad Green is presently married to his longtime partner Jenna Daugherty. The couple got engaged on 20th November 2014 and then tied the knot on November 28, 2015.

Jenna Daugherty was born as one of the four children of Kathy and Mark Daugherty. She was raised alongside her siblings Shannon, Rachel and Kevin. She was raised in Effingham, Illinois where she attended Effingham High School.

Jenna Daugherty Green studied nursing at Illinois State University and later at Chamberlin University College of Nursing. She is currently a NICU RN at Carle Hospital.
