Don Wink Martindale is an American football coach. He is the defensive coordinator for the Baltimore Ravens in the National Football League.

Martindale was born on May 19, 1963, in Dayton, Ohio. He used to be the Ravens’ linebacker.

However, he was promoted to the team’s defensive coordinator in 2018. Martindale had his high school education at Trotwood Madison High School.

While in high school, he played as a linebacker in his school’s team. Martindale got engaged in the family trucking business immediately after college.

Martindale however quit after a year. This was so that he could pursue his true passion: coaching.

Martindale began his coaching career by working as an assistant for the team he played for in his college alma mater. And he has gone to coach several college football teams and various NFL teams like the Oak Raiders, Denver Broncos, and the Baltimore Ravens.
