The recently evicted Zinwe pair from the ongoing Big Brother Naija “No Loose Guard” season, Zion Ogiefa and Chinwe Elibe, have shared how the reality show has positively impacted their relationship. Speaking during a virtual interview on Thursday, the duo opened up about the lessons they’ve learned and their plans for the future.

The Zinwe pair, who had their fair share of misunderstandings while in the house, even contemplating ending their relationship at one point, revealed that the experience taught them valuable lessons in patience and resilience.

“Going into the show has impacted positively on our relationship. Now, we know how to handle situations better,” Chinwe shared. She added that without the show, they might have handled their real-life issues differently and possibly broken up earlier. “Being a couple in Biggie’s house allowed us to confront and work through challenges, which has ultimately made us stronger.”

Zion echoed Chinwe’s sentiments, describing the Big Brother Naija experience as a significant learning opportunity. “I had good relationships with most of the people in the house. It wasn’t a bad experience; rather, it was fun and educational. I got to engage with people I didn’t know before, and I learned about new cultures.”

Looking ahead, Zion, who had established a fashion and modeling brand before entering the show, plans to focus on expanding his brand. “Now that we’re both in the entertainment sector, our fans can expect to see us more on screens, acting, hosting gigs, and events,” he said.

When asked about which housemates they hope will win the show, Zion expressed support for the Radicals, while also acknowledging the Double Kay pair. “I’ll love my boys to win, but if not, I wish Double Kay wins, even though we have scores to settle because he wasn’t honest about the nature of their relationship.”

Chinwe, on the other hand, is rooting for the Double Kay pair, citing her strong connection with Kassia and Kelly Rae. “Kassia is my girl, and Kelly Rae is my friend. I can’t wait to share in their prize money if they win!”

Despite the rocky moments they faced on the show, the Zinwe pair reassured their fans that their relationship is still going strong. Zion emphasized that their relationship was not built on Big Brother Naija, so it won’t end because of it. “Our relationship was only five months old when we entered the show, and we were aware of the criticism and scrutiny we would face. The rocky days were just part of the learning process.”

Addressing rumors of a possible pregnancy, Chinwe clarified that it was just a scare. “I am not pregnant. I was probably under serious stress and experiencing hormonal imbalance, which delayed my period. Thankfully, I’m fine now.”

The Zinwe pair’s journey on Big Brother Naija may have ended, but they remain focused on their relationship and future endeavors in the entertainment industry. Fans are encouraged to stay tuned for more updates from the duo.
