In a recent diary session, BBNaija housemate Chinwe took the opportunity to address some of her frustrations with fellow contestant Nelly.

Joined by her boyfriend Zion, Chinwe accused Nelly of slacking and dismissing ideas without proposing any new ones.
She specifically noted that Nelly, part of the Nelita pair with Anita, has been unproductive in house activities, while praising other housemates such as Onyeka, the HoH NdiNne, and Wanni x Handi for their significant contributions.
Chinwe also acknowledged Anita’s willingness to learn and improve, contrasting this with Nelly’s tendency to shut down ideas without offering constructive alternatives.

To encourage more active participation from Nelly, Chinwe suggested that Big Brother should introduce a dance-related activity, which she believes could better engage Nelly.
BBNaija Season 9, which began on July 28, 2024, features a novel pairing format with 28 contestants competing in duos.
