Bill Nighy is an English actor and the father of Mary Nighy an actress and filmmaker. Mary Nighy was born in London on July 17, 1984. She is 38 years old.

She attended the City of London School for Girls as well as Westminster School. In 2006, Nighy earned a First-Class Honours degree in English from University College London. She belonged to the National Youth Theatre.
Mary Nighy has directed several short films, including Lulu and Player, which was written by Sam Hodges and debuted at the 2008 Miami Short Film Festival. In the spring of 2007, she directed Hodges’ play Lyre at the HighTide Festival.
In 2005, she was named one of the UK Film Council’s “Breakthrough Brits.” Alice, Darling, starring Anna Kendrick and Wunmi Mosaku, is her most recent film and her directorial debut.
