Yes, you can live in the US and work in Canada. However, there are certain requirements that you need to fulfill to work in Canada as a foreign national.

If you are a US citizen, you may be eligible to apply for a Canadian work permit or apply to work in Canada under the Federal Skilled Worker Program, which could eventually lead to Canada PR.

If you are a Canadian citizen living in the US, you can still work in Canada without a work permit. Since citizens can’t lose that status no matter how long they live in another country, you won’t need a work permit to work in Canada.

However, residing in the US and working in Canada has tax implications. To work in Canada as a foreign national, you need to obtain a work permit. The type of work permit you need depends on the type of work you’ll be doing.
