Darrell Brooks topped news headlines after news on his criminal offenses surfaced online. Darrell Brooks has been accused of six counts of first-degree intentional homicide and 70 counts related to the Waukesha Christmas Parade on Nov. 21, 2021. These accusations started when six people died and many others got injured after Darrell Edward Brooks drove a red Ford Blazer SUV through a Christmas parade in 2021.
Due to this case, Darrell Brooks was convicted of numerous felony charges after the jury accused him of being responsible for the tragedy. Each of these charges comes with a life term in prison. Darrell Brooks was convicted on 26th October 2022. The accused after hearing the judgment buried his face in his hands and lowered his head. The victims and witnesses wearing blue Waukesha Strong sweatshirts gathered outside the courtroom, as they bow and pray in silence.
After the trials on Wednesday, November 16th, 2022, Darrell Brooks was sentenced to life in prison without the chance of parole on each of the six counts of first-degree intentional homicide with a dangerous weapon. His judgment was passed by the judge in charge of the case, Judge Jennifer Dorow.
Darrell Edward Brooks Jr. is 40 years old. He grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He lived in Peoria, Illinois, Richmond, California, Sparks, Nevada, and Reno, Nevada. He is 150 pounds and 5 feet 8 inches tall an American Nationality.

Darrell Brooks was once charged with punching and running over the mother of his child. The lady whose identity wasn’t disclosed gave her support in jailing Darrell Brooks over his criminal offenses. According to sources, in a conversation over the phone at the time, she stated;
“He didn’t seem like he was in his right mind,” she told WISN 12 by phone last year.
She didn’t want to be identified.
“He did a monstrous thing,” she said. “Throw him in jail, under the jail, hang him. If they had the death penalty here, I would be for that.”
The woman said she’s raised their child with barely any support from Brooks but said, “He was never violent with me. But, maybe because he didn’t have the opportunity because he was in and out of jail.”

Much is not known about Darrel Brooks Personal life. There are no details on his father yet. However, his mother has been in the news over his current life imprisonment sentence. Darrel Brooks is the son of Dawn Woods from Wisconsin in the United States of America.
Dawn Woods is a former nursing assistant at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee and a personal care assistant at Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. In 1978, she earned her diploma in education from Milwaukee’s West Division Senior High School now, Milwaukee High School of the Arts. Dawn Woods gave birth to twins, Darrel Brooks, and his twin brother, Eboni Danielle Brooks in 1982.
Her daughter Eboni Danielle Brooks has two kids, Anaji Brooks and Aubrei Brooks. She died of an illness on January 25, 2014. Speaking to fox news regarding her son Darrel’s sentence on October 6, 2022, on FOX6 News, she stated:
“Darrell didn’t mean to hurt nobody” and he “knows nothing about the city of Waukesha.”
