Taking to Instagram Live, Etiko addressed the allegations head-on, labeling them as completely false and malicious. She expressed her frustration at the baseless claims, emphasizing that her success and the possessions she enjoys are the result of her hard work, not the generosity of any man.

“If you want to withhold the blessings of God in somebody else鈥檚 life and you want to grow, it is impossible,” Etiko declared during the live session. “I worked for 99.9% of all I have. I don鈥檛 know why some people are bitter, perhaps they are scared.”

Etiko went on to clarify the origin of the rumors, explaining that they were sparked by a photo taken with Matthew Ekeinde several years ago.

She recounted how the photo was taken during a flight where Ekeinde was the pilot. Out of respect for him as a senior colleague’s husband, she asked for a selfie, which she believed was an innocent gesture at the time.

“Some bitter people just sat down and brought the pictures that I took with Omotola鈥檚 husband over four years ago when I was on a flight and he was the pilot,” she explained. “We went there and took a selfie and that was it.”
