The 37-year-old rapper hinted that his 2016 hit single “Too Good,” featuring Rihanna and part of his album “Views,” was inspired by Williams.

In a candid moment with his mother, Sandi Graham, Drake mentioned that the song reflects his connection with Serena. He elaborated that while he often makes music for the women in his life, this particular track was crafted with Serena in mind.

Drake stated that he aimed to create a song she would appreciate, noting that it was designed to be lighthearted and not offensive.

When asked by his mother if Serena was currently seeing someone else, Drake responded with uncertainty, saying, “I don’t know, mom.”

Serena Williams started dating Alexis Ohanian, co-founder of Reddit, shortly after being seen with Drake in August 2015.

Despite rumors of a relationship, sources clarified that while they briefly dated around 2011, they remained friends even after their romance ended.
