Houston Astros manager Dusty Baker is the man of the moment as he’s back in the World Series for the first time since 2002 when he managed the San Francisco Giants.

Baker’s feat makes it the third World Series appearance in five seasons for Houston.

Baker is doing his second season as the Astros’ manager. He is the second-oldest manager to win a pennant at age 72.

Dusty Baker, who managed the Cincinnati Reds from 2008 to 2013, made it to the World Series with a 5-0 win Friday night in Game 6 of the best-of-seven American League Championship Series.

The only time Baker reached the World Series in 2002 with the San Francisco Giants as a manager, the Giants lost the World Series to the Anaheim Angels in seven games.

Baker won a World Series championship as a player with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1981.
