Christy Turlington is widely known as the wife of Edward Burns.

Turlington is an American model and humanitarian who is mostly known for representing Calvin Klein’s Eternity campaign in 1989 and 2014.
She was born on January 2, 1969, in Walnut Creek, California, to Dwain Turlington, a pilot for Pan Am, and María Elizabeth, a flight attendant.
Turlington attended Monte Vista High School in Danville.
After completing, she enrolled at the Gallatin School of Individualized Study of New York University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in Comparative Religion and Eastern Philosophy.

As a model, Turlington has been featured in advertising campaigns for many brands including Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, Marc Jacobs, Donna Karan, Prada, Valentino, Versace, Louis Vuitton, Bally, Jason Wu, Max Mara, Escada, and Michael Kors.
Turlington met Edward Burns at a Hamptons party in 2000 and became engaged by the end of that year.
The couple tied the knot in June 2003 in San Francisco.
Through their marriage, Turlington and Burns have been blessed with two children, a daughter, Grace Burns and a son, Finn Burns.
