Élisabeth Malvina Chalier is a French actress best known as the former wife of the popular French actor who committed suicide, Patrick Dewaere.

Élisabeth “Elsa” Malvina Chalier was born on January 31, 1958 in Paris, 75016, Ile-de-France, France to parents,Yves Marc Chalier and Annie Mazoyer. 

Élisabeth Malvina Chalier rose into the limelight following her marriage to French actor, Patrick Dewaere (born Bourdeaux). The former couple walked down the aisle on October 16, 1980, in Paris but later got divorced in 1980.

Élisabeth Malvina Chalier left Patrick for his best friend, Michel Gérard Joseph Colucci, better known under his stage name Coluche who was a French stage comedian and cinema actor. She later got remarried to Joseph Gouveia on December 14, 2002, in Alfortville.

Élisabeth Malvina Chalier has a daughter, Lola Dewaere whom she had shared with her former partner, Patrick Dewaere. However, Patrick shot himself in his Paris home on July 16, 1982.

According to reports, Élisabeth and her daughter have not been on good terms. Élisabeth Malvina Chalier’s daughter, Lola was born Lola Céleste Marie Bourdeaux, December 4, 1979 in Boulogne-Billancourt, (Hauts-de-Seine) and is currently working as a French actress.

Élisabeth has also made a name for herself as an actress and is known for the TV series Médecins de Nuit released in 1978) as well as the movie Murder on the Sea Person (released in 1978).

Not much is known about Élisabeth Malvina Chalier as she has never personally granted an interview to the press.
