Nollywood star Kate Henshaw responds to critics who objected to her Father’s Day tribute.

To mark global Father’s Day, the esteemed actress posted a heartfelt message on the microblogging platform X, extending her wishes to fathers around the world along with a Bible verse.

She extended her wishes for a joyous Father’s Day to all responsible fathers, praying for God’s strength, favor, and blessings upon them.

She wrote: “The father of the righteous will greatly rejoice, and he who sires a wise child will have joy in him.
Proverbs 23:24 AMP. Happy Father’s Day to all the responsible fathers here. God’s strength, favour, and blessings will continue to abound. 🙏🏽”

However, her message attracted criticism from numerous online users, who highlighted her previous Mother’s Day post. They noted her use of the term “responsible” in the Father’s Day message, which was absent from her Mother’s Day message, sparking debate and discussion.

In response to the trolls, the actress wrote: “I dey go chop ram meat… You will be alright or better still, never be. Name calling no dey shake me…👅”
