From 1980 to 1992, Francis Joseph played forward for a variety of Football League teams, including Wimbledon, Brentford, Reading, Sheffield United, Crewe Alexandra, Fulham, Barnet, and Gillingham.

More Information About Francis Joseph

Joseph played soccer both inside and outside of the United Kingdom, including stints with the Honka, JYP 77, and HJK Helsinki in Finland, Racing Ghent in Belgium, and the Tampa Bay Rowdies in the United States.

Francis Joseph eventually dropped into the English non-league and played for a number of clubs before turning pro in 1995.

Following his departure from Barnet, Joseph changed clubs several times, playing for Slough Town, Wokingham Town, Leatherhead, Dulwich Hamlet, Chertsey Town, Walton & Hersham, and Chesham, among other English non-league teams.

Francis Joseph went back to Chertsey Town in November 1995 to work as a player coach. Joseph had earlier been a player for Wealdstone and had since become their coach.
