It is important to note that this visa waiver Agreement does not permit visitors to engage in any form of work while within the territory of either Ghana or South Africa. Its primary purpose is to promote tourism, cultural exchange, business interactions, and friendship.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration encourages the travelling public to take note of this highly anticipated development. Whether you’re planning a leisurely visit to South Africa’s breathtaking landscapes, exploring Ghana’s historical sites, or engaging in business activities, this Agreement simplifies your travel process and fosters a warm welcome.

As the Republic of Ghana and the Republic of South Africa embark on this new chapter of cooperation, it is expected that the visa waiver regime will further promote collaboration and strengthen the long-standing diplomatic relations between the two nations. This landmark Agreement reflects their commitment to fostering unity, understanding, and shared prosperity.
