“God Can’t Help Us On This One, We Need US” – Tacha Reacts To Twitter Ban In Nigeria

Former BBNaija housemate, Tiwa Savage, has finally reacted to the ban of Twitter in Nigeria by the federal government.

If readers will recall, the Federal Government of Nigeria disclosed that will suspend the use of the app in the country indefinitely after the company deleted a controversial tweet President Muhammadu Buhari made about a secessionist movement.

Minister of Information and Culture Lai Mohammed said government officials decided to suspend Twitter because the platform was being used for activities that are capable of undermining Nigeria’s corporate existence.

Commenting on this, Tacha took to her social media page and stated that other countries are growing and expanding their economy but, FG needs 10 days to investigate the Twitter ban. She describes this as total abuse of the rights of citizens.

“Other countries are moving! Expanding! Growing! Evolving! Doing everything right!! But here we are needing 10Days to investigate a “Twitter ban” that clearly abuses our rights as CITIZENS!! God can’t help us on this one, we need US”.
