Hulk Hogan is an American retired professional wrestler, TV personality, actor, entrepreneur and musician. He was born on August 11, 1953, in Georgia, USA to Peter Bollea and Ruth V.

Hulk attended Hillsborough Community College and the University of South Florida, from where he dropped out to focus on music. He formed the band, Ruckus in 1976 with a couple of other musicians.

In Mid 1977 after training for more than a year with Matsuda, Hulk fought Brian Blair on August 10, 1977. When things did not work out with Matsuda, he left him and CWF. Hulk decided to partner with his friend Ed Leslie(Brutus Beefcake) to form a tag team and joined Louie Tillets Abraham Territory.

Hulk won his first wrestling championship after defeating Bob Roop for the NWA Southeastern Heavyweight Championship in 1979. He joined Ted Turner’s World Championship Westling (WWC) IN 1994 and defeated Ric Flair in his debut match to become the WCW Heavyweight Champion. Hulk was honoured at Madison Square Garden during a live WWE event on February 27, 2015.
