Charles Alan Siebert was an actor and television director from the United States most known for his portrayal of Dr Stanley Riverside II on the television series Trapper John, M.D., which he played from 1979 until 1986.
Siebert studied acting at Marquette University under the great Fr. John J. Walsh, S.J., and then at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA).
Siebert’s career has focused on working as a director for episodic television since 1986, with shows such as Xena: Warrior Princess and Hercules: The Legendary Journeys among his credits.
Siebert played Frank Baldwin, the mayor of Los Angeles, in the catastrophe thriller The Big One: The Great Los Angeles Earthquake, which aired on television in 1990.
In the 1980s, Siebert was a regular on game programmes such as $25,000 Pyramid, $100,000 Pyramid, Match Game, and Super Password alongside Jo Ann Worley, Vicki Lawrence, Jackee Harry and Blackout, among others.
