Maddie Ziegler is an actress cum dancer famous for appearing in the reality show Dance Moms.

Born on September 30, 2002, Ziegler began appearing in Dance Moms from age 8. She later went on to appear in the music videos “Chandelier” and “Elastic Heart”, as well as other films, adverts and even magazine covers.

The Pennsylvania-born actress was listed amongst the “30 most influential teens” from 2015 to 2017, by Time Magazine.

In 2016, Ziegler functioned as a judge on So You Think You Can Dance:

In 2017 she published her memoir, The Maddie Diaries, which became a New York Times Best Seller.

So far, Ziegler has starred in several movies including Ballerina (2016), The Book of Henry (2017), Music (2021), The Fallout (2021) and West Side Story.

Ziegler has won a number of awards and nominations such as The Dance Awards, Shorty Awards, Teen Choice Awards, People’s Choice Awards, and many more.
