Working for Rosneft since March 2014, Sechin’s death remained unreported until exiled Russian businessman and ardent opponent of Russian President Vladimir Putin Leonid Nevzlin brought attention to an entry in the official registry of inheritance cases.
The person whose registration in the registry is Ivan Igorevich Sechin, a 1989 native who resided in a building that was formerly referred to as “a house for President Putin’s associates,” according to reports from independent Russian news agencies.
