Jim Lemley is an American film and television producer recognized for his most notable work on the popular action-based film Wanted.

Jim Lemley was born on March 9, 1965, in Seattle, Washington, United States. Not much is known about his parents, however, his father, Jack Lemley, was the CEO of the consortium responsible for building the largest privately financed construction project in history “the Channel Tunnel” which links France and England.

Jim Lemley moved around a lot with his family and has lived in places including Washington, New York and Connecticut. The family later moved to his parent’s hometown, Idaho.

Jim Lemley was brought up alongside three younger siblings. With regards to his educational background, he obtained a B.A. in Marketing from the University of Idaho, College of Business and Economics in 1988.

Following his graduation, Jim Lemley moved to New York City, where he joined the indie-label Island Records. He later moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film production. Jim Lemley before joining Mel Gibson‘s Icon Entertainment in 1992 which he also left in order to start an independent producing career.

Jim Lemley shot to immense fame after the success of his hit action thriller Wanted which was released in 2008. He went on to make more waves since and is currently based in Paris.
