Lisa Brown, an American actress known for her work in daytime television, plays Nola Reardon on Guiding Light and Iva Snyder on As the World Turns was born on August 2, 1954, in Kansas City, Missouri, U.S.

Brown’s breakthrough came on Guiding Light, where she played the role of Nola Reardon Chamberlain from 1980 to 1985 and again from 1995 to 1998 (with an appearance in the show’s final weeks in 2009). Not only did Brown find success in her career but also a love story. During the movie, Brown’s boyfriend was Tom Nielsen who had the role of Floyd Parker.

Brown and Tom translated their love story in the movie to reality. But unfortunately, their love story wasn’t very successful as was expected.

Brown married Brian Neary In 1997. Her son, James Anthony Nielsen, played her infant son on Guiding Light and is now the lead singer of Senses Fail.
