Martin Jones is a Canadian ice hockey goaltender who currently plays for the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League.

He is the son of Sofia Jones and Harvey Jones. Harvey, his father, is the Vice-President of Arena Operations for the Vancouver Canucks.

Marin Jones has a brother named Jordan and a sister named Jocelyn. Jones believed that his father’s status with the Canucks provided him with possibilities in the game that most other children would not have.

As a child, he participated in the 2003 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with a North Vancouver minor ice hockey club. He was a member of the Vancouver Northwest Giants of the BC Hockey Major Midget League at the midget level.

Jones began his professional career with the Manchester Monarchs in the American Hockey League (AHL) and made his NHL debut in 2013, where he spent two seasons as Jonathan Quick’s backup.

Jones won the Stanley Cup with the Kings in 2014. In 2017, he was selected to play in the NHL All-Star Game. Martin Jones previously played for the Los Angeles Kings, San Jose Sharks, Philadelphia Flyers, and Seattle Kraken.
