Max Giesinger is a German pop and pop-rock musician and songwriter who gained widespread popularity with his single 80 Millionen which placed as high as the second position in the German charts.
Max Giesinger was born on October 3, 1988 in Waldbronn. Max Giesinger’s love for music was evident from birth and at the young age of 13, he played in his first band, known as the Deadly Punks. At the age of 20, Max Giesinger played in the bands; Bud Spencer Group, Sovereign Point and as a solo project Maxville.

Max Giesinger completed his high school diploma at the Gymnasium Karlsbad after which he travelled to Australia and New Zealand, where he worked as a street musician for a work & travel program.

Following his return to Germany, Max Giesinger applied to the Baden-Württemberg Pop Academy but was not admitted because he did not pass the entrance examination.
However, Max Giesinger made his break after he participated in the singing casting show, The Voice of Germany in 2011 after being approached by the producers. Max Giesinger reached the final of the show and finished in fourth place. The song which he sang on the show, Dach der Welt placed fourteenth on the German music charts.
Max Giesinger then followed his exploits in the Voice of Germany show with a tour of 12 German cities.
Due to personal differences, Max Giesinger separated himself from his label and launched a crowdfunding campaign in 2014 to enable him to fund his first album. Max Giesinger reached his financial goal in a little over 24 hours. However, the album “Laufen lernen” falied to live up to his exploits during the Voice of Germany show.
