Sarah Hadland has been confirmed as the ninth celebrity contestant for the upcoming series of Strictly Come Dancing.

The popular show, produced by BBC Studios, is set to return this Autumn on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, celebrating its 20th anniversary with even more glitz and glamour.
Hadland, an acclaimed actress, is known for her role as Stevie in the BAFTA-nominated sitcom Miranda and as a cast member of the award-winning Horrible Histories.
Her other notable credits include a role in the Bond film Quantum of Solace and the West End production of Noises Off. She was also nominated for an RTS Award for her performance in The Job Lot.

Expressing her excitement, Hadland said, “I cannot believe I am part of Strictly! I feel particularly excited to be part of such an iconic show in its 20th year. I’m so ready for the glitz, glam, and glitter and hopefully I can make everyone watching at home proud!”
The announcement was made on ITV’s Lorraine. The full line-up of celebrity contestants will be revealed in the coming weeks.
Strictly Come Dancing is produced by BBC Studios for BBC One and BBC iPlayer, with Kalpna Patel-Knight as Head of Entertainment at the BBC. Sarah James is the Executive Producer, and the Series Editors are Nicola Fitzgerald and Jack Gledhill.
