Monica Crowley is a well known figure in American politics, who previously served as United States Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Public Affairs.
During her time in the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Crowley showed commitment to public service and the economic landscape of the United States.
Crowley’s extensive career also encompasses roles as a political commentator and lobbyist. Notably, she contributed to Fox News for over two decades, with intermittent breaks, from 1996 to 2017.

Unfortunately, this appointment was short-lived, as she withdrew a month later amid allegations of plagiarism related to her 2012 book and 2000 Ph.D. dissertation.
Despite this setback, Crowley’s resilience prevailed. In July 2019, she found herself back in the political spotlight when President Trump announced her appointment as spokesperson for the Treasury Department.
Shortly thereafter, on July 24, 2019, Crowley was officially sworn into office.
