Mpho Moerane was a South African electrician, businessman and politician who was the mayor of Johannesburg between October and November 2021. He was born in the Alexandra township outside Johannesburg.

Mpho served in the African Makhubo’s election as mayor of Johannesburg in December 2019, Moerane was appointed the member of the mayoral committee responsible for environment and infrastructure services.
