Nasty C is a South African rapper, songwriter and producer who became the youngest recipient of a South African Hip Hop Award in 2015.

Nasty C whose real name is Nsikayesizwe David Junior Ngcobo was born on February 11, 1997, in Diepkloof, Soweto – Johannesburg. His family later moved to Durban, KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. He attended Strelitzia secondary school and later proceeded to Durban high school, where he completed his education up to Grade 12 in the year 2014.

Nasty C was nine years old when he started rapping. Whiles still in school, he released his first mixtape titled ‘One Kid, a Thousand Coffins’ in 2013 when he was just 15 years.

Nasty C got his stage name through a family friend called Whisper who used to call him Nasty Cat because of his constant use of inappropriate language when he was rapping to his favourite hip-hop songs.
