In 1987, Eisenberg co-founded the Naked Angels Theatre Company with his friend Fisher Stevens.

He was married to Patricia Eisenberg.
Eisenberg died on February 27, 2022, after a battle with cholangiocarcinoma and ocular melanoma cancers at the age of 65.

She is an actress who guest-starred on Law & Order and Law & Order: Criminal Intent. She starred as Birdie in Serial Mom with Kathleen Turner, Sam Waterston, Matthew Lillard, and John Waters in 1994.
