“Neil Cavuto’s illustrious career has been a master class in journalism, and we’re extremely proud of his incredible 28-year run with FOX News Media. His programs have defined business news and set the standard for the entire industry. We wish him a heartfelt farewell and all the best in his next chapter,” the statement read.
Cavuto’s decision comes as his contract expires at the end of 2024. According to a source familiar with the situation, Cavuto declined an offer to renew his contract, citing changes in the evolving news industry, which has seen widespread salary adjustments.
Currently, Cavuto anchors three shows across Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network: Your World on weekdays at 4 p.m. ET, Cavuto Coast to Coast on weekdays at noon ET, and Cavuto Live on Saturdays at 10 a.m. ET. A rotating lineup of guest hosts will helm his shows until Fox announces a revamped programming slate in 2025.
