Kansas City Chiefs defensive lineman Isaiah Buggs has been accused of pulling the mother of his child down a flight of stairs and causing her harm before being arrested on Sunday, June 16th.

The woman allegedly informed the police that the NFL star forcibly entered her residence in Tuscaloosa, Alabama around 5:28 a.m. with a tire iron, then proceeded upstairs to confront her.

She claimed Buggs pulled her down the stairs, causing several of her “clip-on toenails” to break off. She also had “scratch marks” on her wrist from the altercation.

Buggs then reportedly fled the scene in a white Cadillac after she informed him she was calling the police. Buggs and his Cadillac were found in a parking lot near a Little Caesars shortly afterward. He was subsequently arrested a short time later. Court records indicate he has been charged with domestic violence and burglary.

This marks the second time in the past month that the 27-year-old football player has been taken into police custody. In late May, he was arrested on charges of animal cruelty, as authorities alleged.
