A tragic incident has shocked many as British oil tycoon David Thomas Blyth fatally shot his wife, comedian Victoria Vera Blyth, before taking his own life at their residence in Ankara, Turkey.


The devastating murder-suicide occurred following a heated argument over text messages, leaving their three children—aged four, ten, and 14—in the care of Victoria’s family who rushed to Turkey after the heartbreaking event.

David, known for his ownership of ASG Inspection, an international oil firm, and Victoria, a well-known TV presenter of the Morning Show on Europe 2, had been married since 2014.

They previously resided in Prague before relocating to Turkey due to David’s business commitments in the Middle East.

Victoria, originally from South Africa, initially pursued music and gained fame with her debut album in 2004. Her sudden and tragic death has deeply impacted her family, compounded by the recent loss of their father.

Alexandra, Victoria’s grieving sister, shared a poignant tribute on Instagram, highlighting Victoria’s vibrant spirit and the family’s plea for privacy and time to heal, especially for the sake of the children.

This heartbreaking incident serves as a grim reminder of the complexities of relationships and the profound impact of such tragedies on families left behind.
