Kwame Nsiah Apau popularly called Okyeame Kwame is a Ghanaian musician, songwriter, creative director and entrepreneur. He was born on April 17, 1976, in Kumasi, Ghana.

Okyeame Kwame attended Anglican Senior High School and proceeded to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology for his first degree. Subsequently, he enrolled at the University of Ghana and graduated in 2016 with a Masters Degree in Strategic Marketing.

In 1997, he gained fame as a member of the Akyeame Hiplife duo, together with a fellow Ghanaian Daniel Kofi Amoateng. They recorded a few albums together during those time. In 2004 when the group disbanded, he went solo as he performed solo under his own record label one mic entertainment. In 2009 he won the Artist of The Year award at the Ghana Music Awards.
