The Platinum Jubilee celebration marks the Queen of England’s 70th year on the throne, with a four-day bank holiday from Thursday 2 June to Sunday 5 June.

The program line-up for the four days is scheduled as follows:

Thursday 2 June

The Queen’s Birthday Parade will opens the event at 10 a.m.

There will be a display of military peagants, Ist Batallion and Irish Guards on Horse Parade, moving to the drum beats supplied by Army musicians.

The timings are as follows:

The parade end with aircrafts from the armed forces flying over the Buckingham Palace.

In addition, there will be a special ceremony at the Buckingham Palace at 9pm

Friday 3 June

On this day, a Thanksgiving Service will be held at St Paul’s Cathedral, the great royal bell will be rung.

Members of the Royal family will be in attendance. A grand reception will follow at the Guildhall, and will be hosted by the Lord Mayor.

Saturday 4 June

There will be a Derby at Epson Downs with the Queen and other members of the royal family in attendance.

The Derby will feature Frankie Dettori and Willie Carson with up to 40 past and present jockeys.

A Platinum Party will follow at the Palace, with Kirsty Young and Roman Kemp as hosts.

All events will go live on BBC One, BBC iPlayer and via all the entire BBC network.

Sunday 5 June

The grand finale will go down on Sunday with the Platinum Jubilee Pageant, kicking off at 2.30pm until 5pm.

The grand finale will see Ed Sheeran sing the national anthem.

Over one billion people across the globe will view the entire celebration.
