Renowned afrobeats champion, Damini Ogulu better known as Burna Boy has declared himself number one after securing a Grammy nomination for the second time in a row.
The African Giant got nominated with his latest album ‘Twice As Tall’ for the ‘Best Global Music Album‘ category at the 2021 Grammy Awards. Burna Boy had earlier bagged a nomination at the 2020 Grammy Awards ceremony which he lost to legendary singer, Angélique Kidjo.
His highly celebrated 2020 album ‘Twice As Tall’ had debuted at number one before it peaked at number 54 on Billboard’s World Album chart.

The ‘Monsters You Made’ hitmaker who is clearly excited about his achievement has been throwing indirect shades on his social media lately and his recent one targets the topmost position.
Taking to his Snapchat to shade his other colleague artists, he went ahead to describe himself as the number one artist while adding that power has changed hands.
