Popular American singer and record producer, R. Kelly, has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for his sexual abuse case. R. Kelly is known in real life as Robert Sylvester Kelly and he has been active in the media scenes for three decades from 1989 to 2019.
R. Kelly was initially charged with racketeering and sex trafficking crimes in September 2021, and he was even fined $100,000. After some time, a number of separate criminal charges have been imposed on R. Kelly and that has led to his 30-year prison sentence.

According to the United States District Judge Ann Donnelly, R. Kelly forced a number of victims into sexual activities and also saddled them with incurable diseases. The judge added that this sentence will deter others who are involved in similar crimes to stop.
