Reservoir Dogs’ Star Michael Madsen Arrested for Domestic Battery

Actor Michael Madsen was arrested in Malibu early Saturday, August 17 2024 morning on charges of domestic battery following a dispute with his wife, DeAnna Madsen.

Authorities from the Malibu/Lost Hill Sheriff’s Station responded to a call shortly after midnight on August 17.

Madsen, 66, was arrested on a misdemeanor charge under Penal Code 243(e)(1), which involves allegations of using force or violence against a cohabitant. He was booked at the station at 1:40 a.m. and later released on a $20,000 bond.

In a statement to Variety, a representative for Madsen described the incident as a “disagreement” between the actor and his wife, expressing hope for a positive resolution.

Madsen is renowned for his roles in Quentin Tarantino’s films, including his memorable performance as Mr. Blonde in the 1992 film Reservoir Dogs.

His collaboration with Tarantino continued with roles in Kill Bill Vol. 1 and Kill Bill Vol. 2, The Hateful Eight, and Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood.

The actor has also appeared in films such as Thelma and Louise, Donnie Brasco, Sin City, and Mulholland Falls. Recently, he has focused on direct-to-video productions.
