Rohff Biography

Housni M’kouboi, known popularly as Rohff (also Rho2f) is a French rapper whose stage name is an acronym for “Rimeur Original Hardcore Flow Fluide”.

Rohff was born on December 25, 1977 in  Antananarivo, Madagascar to a family of Comoran origin. Rohff migrated to France in 1985 and lived in Vitry-sur-Seine, one of the south suburbs of Paris. Rhoff’s siblings are Ikbal Vockal and Jalloud Mkouboi. Rhoff began rapping in the early 1990’s. Rhoff was featured with Oliver Cheatham on DJ Abdel’s “Get Down Samedi Soir.”

Rhoff is is a member of the French collection of hip-hop artists known as Mafia K-1 Fry. Rhoff is also known for popular singles like “Qui est L’exemple?,” “La Puissance” and “J’accélère.”

Rohff Imprisonment

On April 21, 2014 in the late afternoon, Rohff was involved in a violent attack in a clothing store in the 1st arrondissement of Paris distributing Unküt, the brand of the rapper Booba. Rohff was part of as gang that wrecked the store and beat up one of the shop workers.

On October 27, 2017, Rohff was sentenced to five years in prison for “aggravated violence”, as a result of the charges against him regarding the assault in Unküt three years earlier.

On June 6, 2019, the court of appeals confirmed Rohff’s guilt increasing the sentence to 5 years in prison.

Rohff was released from the electronic surveillance device that he had been wearing on 24 February 2020.
