The controversy began when an X user posted a video of Seyi Law at a party and claimed he holds a high position within the cult, suggesting that many in the SouthWest region are involved.
In response to these allegations, Seyi Law has expressed his intention to consider legal action against the X user.
He has also voiced his concern that taking such steps might be perceived as an overreaction.

The original post made by the X user read, “So @seyilaw1 is a top Eiye member. It seems like almost everyone in the SouthWest is affiliated with Eiye.”
Seyi Law countered by saying, “I hope that when I take action now, people won’t label it as oppression.”
This statement highlights his determination to clear his name while expressing his hope that his response will not be misinterpreted.
