Seyi Shay, the Nigerian singer who recently released a 12-track album titled ‘Big girl’ may have hinted at a possible collaboration with Tiwa Savage despite their strained relationship.
In a recent interview, Seyi Shay opined that healthy competition among musicians is a positive thing.
Seyi Shay said;
“Honestly, there would always be rivalry between human beings, not just women”.
In furtherance, Seyi Shay said; “There is nothing wrong with a little competition here and there but always remind yourself that what is yours is yours.”
Reacting to questions of the possibility of a collaboration with Tiwa savage, Seyi Shay said;
“Let the future come. Our prayers should be that we live to see it in good health. Love and light”.
It would be recalled that in June 2021, Seyi Shay and Tiwa Savage clashed after the former tried exchanging greetings with the latter.
Recounting the incident, Seyi Shay said;
“It was a hello and some minutes later it was a different thing, with was shocking to me you know, at the same time everybody is in a different place in their lives and everybody is going through something but then you say ‘hi’ to somebody no matter what the history is or whatever you expect either ‘don’t talk to me ‘ or a ‘hi’ back but this circumstance was very different but it wasn’t a mistake, everything that happened was supposed to happen.”
