Shiri Spear was born on 25th May 1981 in Hollis, New Hampshire, in the United States of America.
Shiri enrolled at the River College, Nashua New Hampshire, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Secondary Mathematics Education before later graduating with a Master’s Degree in Atmospheric and Environmental Science.

She started her career as a summertime waitress at local Dunkin’ Donuts. Then after her BA, she was a preschool teacher for some time then taught pre-algebra in seventh grade.
She later was offered to join WWLP-TV22 News to work as an environmental reporter and meteorologist, which opened her doors.
