Nigerian Singer, Terry Apala, has been robbed by bandits on the Third Mainland Bridge In Lagos.
According to a recorded video posted by the artiste, he lamented that a group of bandits attacked him and his friends with a cutlass, took their phones and destroyed their car. He mentioned that they rushed on them while they were in traffic and attacked them, getting away with their possessions. He also added that they got injured in the process.
“Bitter Experience tonight, got robbed just now with my guys on the third mainland bridge. I hope they survived the injury,” he wrote in a social media post.
There have been several cases of robberies recorded on that stretch, however, there has not been any outcome from the authorities as to if they will do something about it or not. Many people living in Nigeria have expressed their grievances to the government, pleading that kidnapping, robberies, and all sorts of crimes have become rampant in the country.
Terry Apala is a Nigerian Afrobeats artiste, who is also an Apala (traditional Yoruba music) hip-pop musician.
