Steve Hofmeyr was born on August 29, 1964, in Pretoria, South Africa. As per his educational background, he attended Grey’s College where he studied drama. He got featured in the screens in the early ’80s as an actor based on his professional skills.

Steve Hofmeyr rose to fame following his performance as a cast member of the Afrikaans drama show, Agter elke man (1990). He, however, left the TV show to pursue a music career.

Steve Hofmeyr has successfully established himself as a unique singer and a songwriter in South Africa and has been in the music industry since 1989.
