Trey Edmunds is a professional American football player primarily known for his role as a running back.

Born on December 30, 1994, in Virginia, United States, Edmunds entered the National Football League (NFL) as an undrafted free agent, embarking on a career that included stints with only two teams – the New Orleans Saints and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Edmunds’ journey into professional football was shaped by his college football career with the Virginia Tech Hokies, where he excelled as a running back.

Despite going undrafted in the 2017 NFL Draft, he defied the odds by signing with the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent, marking the beginning of his NFL journey.

In 2018, Edmunds joined the Pittsburgh Steelers, where he primarily contributed as a special teams player while occasionally taking on the role of a running back.

However, his time with the Steelers was cut short, as he was released in 2022, marking a significant juncture in his evolving NFL career.
