Fat Friends is a British drama that aired on ITV from October 12, 2000, to March 24, 2005, with 25 episodes spread across four series. The series, set in Leeds, delves into the lives of numerous slimming club members, focusing on the varied ways their weight has affected them.

Kay Mellor created the programme, which was produced by Rollem Productions in collaboration with Tiger Aspect Productions and Yorkshire Television.
Fat Friends revolves around a slimming club in Leeds’ Headingley neighbourhood.

The club is led by the imposing Carol, who attempts in vain to get the members to adopt the ‘Super Slimmers’ diet.
