David A. Arnold, an American stand-up comedian, sitcom writer, producer, and actor has died unexpectedly on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2022 at age 54.

“It is with great sadness that we confirm the untimely passing of our husband, father, brother and friend, David A. Arnold,” the comic’s family wrote in a statement to the Times. “David passed away peacefully today in his home and doctors have ruled the cause of death due to natural causes. Please keep our family in prayer and respect our privacy at this time as we are all shocked and devastated by this loss.”

Arnold started performing in 1997 and till his death, he performed;

Arnold produced the Netflix revival series Fuller House.

He also had his own stand-up comedy special on Netflix, David A. Arnold: Fat Ballerina and another 2022 Netflix stand-up comedy special, which premiered July 19, 2022 called It Ain’t For The Weak.

At time of death, Arnold was in the midst of the “Pace Ya Self” standup tour.

He was scheduled to play standup dates in New Brunswick, N.J. later this month as well as in Atlanta and Nashville in early October.
